September Competition Results
Last night was the local club’s photography competition for September, the theme was Mountains and Valleys. I entered four photos in all, two in color digital, and two in color print. In the end, I received a 3rd place and an honorable mention. Another big night to add to last month’s 9 points and 3 wins. This time 4 points and 2 wins. I’m now at 13 wins on the year and 31 total points, however, I dropped in the standings because a few below me did incredibly well. I might have dropped to 7th place, but with 2 months left, I think I have another top 10 finish in the cards.
My photo of Mount Fitz Roy won 3rd place in color print while my photo of the stone barn in the Lake District of England won an honorable mention in color digital. My photo of Koke’e State Park in Kaua’i did not place, as well as my photo from the summit of Blencathra in the Lake District of England. Here they are.
