August competition results
Last night was the local club’s photography competition for August, the theme was Formations. I entered four photos in all, two in color digital, one in black and white digital, and one black and white print. When the dust settled, I walked away with two 2nd places and one honorable mention. A big night for sure, 3 wins and 9 points (4 points for each 2nd, and 1 point for honorable mention). That now moves me to 11 wins on the year and 27 total points.
With 3 competitions left this year, I am in reach of my goal of 15 wins for the year. It will be tough as one of the themes is Humor, and I might have a hard time with that one. With the points, I have now achieved “Fellow” in the club, and with 12 more points I can achieve “Silver” in the club. Ok, I got this, 4 wins and 12 points!
