New Gear

Yes, it wouldn’t be another day around here without a new gear entry. This time, I bought the Canon RF 200-800 lens. I found a new copy about $200 less than retail and jumped on the deal. I’ve wanted it for bird photography, of course, and the occasional full moon photo. It’s not the fastest lens at 800mm, but it will be ok for sunny days, and I will push the ISO to see what kind of images I can get. I’m pretty excited about it! It should arrive next week, there will be photos shared here of course!
