Street Photography Competition
I am beginning to cover some of the blind spots I have in my photography skills. Recently I scratched portraiture off my list, not that I am great at it, I pulled it off. And now I have pulled together 4 entries for the local photography club’s August competition which is street photography. After searching through my archive of photos, honestly, I had a nice collection of what I considered to be representations of street photography. Lots of candid moments.
Of the photos, I took just one recently. I found a crosswalk that was half in shadow, half in the light, and waited for someone to walk across it. I managed to capture that and it was one of my 4 photos. The others included a family enjoying Land’s End in Cornwall, UK, a selfie along the beach grass at West Sands in St. Andrews, Scotland, and then Santa Claus walking down the street in Huntsville, Alabama.
I will return sometime next week with how I did. Until then, here are my 4 entries.
