New gear coming soon

My Sony A6500 just never gets used. It’s in my car and is my walk around every day camera, but I rarely if ever take it out. It’s a great camera, the kit lens is sharp and adequate for what I need it to do, but somehow, it never gets used. I doubt I will sell it when my new piece of kit arrives, but it will likely be relegated to dust collecting duty.

So what did I pick up? The Panasonic Lumix L10. I had to pre-order it with a mid June ship date, so I can still change my mind. But I doubt I will because the overwhelming majority of camera channels on YouTube who reviewed it, loved it. It’s a fixed lens, 24-75mm full frame equivalent which is perfect for what I want it to be. A street photography camera. Something I can easily pop into the pocket of a jacket or a super small bag. I’ll have a wrist strap on it, and it’ll be the camera I use on all of my downtown walks. And it will also go with me everywhere that it can.

I’m pretty excited about it, and of course, when it arrives, there will be photos posted here!
